1.      THE GUITAR

Assalamu alaikum wr. Wb. Firstly thank you for the time given to me and now I stand here to tell you about my spoken report text to you.

Then I will ask you all a question, do you like music? If so surely youknow or have everseen a musical instrument called the guitar.Yep. Guitar is astringed musical instrument that is played by plucked, usuallyusing fingers ora plectrum. Guitars is traditionally formed from different types of wood with stringsmade ​​of nylon orsteel. Some modernguitars are made ofpolycarbonate material.

Friends? You must know that guitarwas first introduced by the Spanish nationin the 17th century in western european countries. In general, divided into 2 types of guitars: acoustic and electric.

Acoustic guitars, the hollow parts of the body (hollow body), has been used for thousands of years. There are three main types of modern acoustic guitar: nylon-string acoustic guitar, steel-string acoustic guitar, and the archtop guitar. Classical guitar is generally played as a solo instrument using a comprehensive fingerpickingtechnique.

2.      POP MUSIC

Listen, all. Do you like music, especially pop music? I like it too. Anyway, can you tell me what pop music is? Well, pop music is a genre of popular music form from classical music and folk music. This music is very flexible because it can include rock, hip-hop, dance and country. There are also subgenres like soft pop and pop-rock.

Now, let’s find out more about pop music. Pop music was born in 1679 in napoli, italy. It was the time whan Alessandro Scarlatti compossed his very first opera; thogh, some say it could have been Francesco Provenzale that created pop music because of his light, lively and catchy tones.

But then, the industrial Revolution and the American and French revolution took place. They brought a social and cultural change. Two were most notable, the rise of the Bourgeoisie and Romanticism. It stressed popular music, thus it was not long before it affected instrumental music. Further, popular music influenced some popular dance like Waltz, Zum Sperl and Apollo.

Let’s talk about the consumers of pop music. You know, pop music is wide-world. However, the most consumers of this music genre are teenagers. Do you know why? Party because youth culture itself is an object of social concern, pop music has historically been the source of lots of social incidents. Unfortunately, many parents blame pop music for increases in drug use, teen pregnancy, school shootings and other violences. No wonder since most pop star are also controversial role models for teens. Can you mention some of them? Of course, you recognize Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Kurt Cobain.

THE LION

Hello friends, thank you for the time given to me. Here I want to tell you about the king of the jungle. Do you know the Lion? Well, I think you have seen a Lion in the television or in the zoo. Well guys, Lion is a carnivore, and it is a wild animal. You can find a Lion in the African jungle, you also can find it in the savannah and forest.

            A Lion looks like a cat but it is bigger than a cat. The male Lion has mane, it is bigger than the female. Friends? Do you know that Lion is a great hunter? They can run very fast like a horse. They have strong and sharp claws to catch their prey. Its fangs are very strong. Emmm. . . Lion likes to eat zebra, buffaloes, or deer. And guys, you must know that Lion is a good listener because it can hear voice from until 100 until 150 meters.
